Volante Format Plug-ins
Designer supports external formats via Format Plug-ins (FPI). Volante supports practically every major Financial Industry format including SWIFT, FIX and CMS. Format plug-ins capture not only the syntactic details of formats but also semantic rules. Format Plug-ins hide message complexity from users and enable users to focus on a message's business content rather than on their structural idiosyncrasies. Volante provides its partners with a development kit to develop new format plug-ins for formats not already supported or to support proprietary formats.
