The survey explores two key aspects of payments modernization: the business context and drivers, as well as the technological investments institutions are planning to make to enable it. For many institutions, investments made in projects pre-pandemic have begun to show ROI, and now nearly 65% are continuing their modernization journey by replacing one or more existing payments systems within one year.
